The short version

If a pack is faulty, not as described, or you cannot open it, you get your money back. Email us. We will not argue about it.

The 14-day cancellation right, and why it ends at download

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you normally have 14 days to cancel a distance purchase.

For digital content supplied immediately, that right ends once supply begins — but only if you gave express consent to immediate supply and acknowledged that you would lose the right to cancel. That is why checkout asks you to tick a box saying exactly that, unticked by default. If you do not tick it, we cannot give you the file straight away.

So: once you have started the download, the 14-day cancellation right is gone. That is the law rather than a policy of ours, and it is the same on every platform selling digital downloads.

What you still get regardless

The Consumer Rights Act 2015 says digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If a pack is not, you are entitled to a repair, a replacement or a refund, and losing the cancellation right does not touch that.

In practice that covers: a corrupted file, a pack that is not the number of pages stated, a factual error we have not corrected, or content that does not match the listing.

Email hello@readyhomeuk.com with your order reference and what is wrong. Bought through Etsy? Message the shop there instead, so their own protection applies to you as well.
